2013 Nissan Murano LE Platinum Edition

2013 Nissan Murano LE Platinum Edition Front Back

The 2013 Nissan Murano LE Platinum Edition has come a long way since it was first sold as a 2003 model. The first generation (2003-2007) Murano’s design was ahead of its time for the crossover SUV industry, with unique styling cues which have become more of the norm in today’s designs. The second generation (2009-Present) Murano holds strong to the original design, but with a more updated touch of class. Perhaps the most prevalent design cue of both generations of the Murano is the wide front end with the short but broad grille integrated into the aggressive looking headlights. The uniqueness of the Murano comes not only from the exterior design, but also the fact that both generations are manufactured on a platform designed for cars improving the reduction in noise and vibration.

UNDER THE HOOD

The 2013 Nissan Murano features a 3.5L V6 with a continuous variable transmission (CVT) and adaptive shift control outputting 260 horsepower and 240 ft-lb of torque. All this, coupled with the intuitive all wheel drive system and traction control provides for a smooth, quiet ride with more than enough power when needed. Driving around the city, you can expect to see a fuel consumption of 11.5L/100km, while on the highway you can see a much lower 8.5L/100km.
