2015 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Paul Stanley Concept

Not all of the customs at SEMA are about showing off huge power or wild body kits. Automakers also bring along a smattering of concepts that just display some of the styling options possible for their models. Chevrolet is no different, and it has a bunch of modestly modded bow ties on display at this year’s show.

Perhaps the oddest of the brand’s styling concepts is the 2015 Corvette Stingray as personalized by Kiss member Paul Stanley. The band is probably among the last you would associate with the ‘Vette, but Stanley gives his take a candy red paint over much of the body with a contrasting Midnight Glaze Silver roof, hatch, spoiler and grille. The look is completed with forged aluminum wheels from Chevrolet Accessories that are 19-inches up front and 20-inches in the rear.

The Chevy Cruze RS Plus doesn’t wear styling by a rock star but it does have custom Wildfire Metallic paint and matte black stripes that really grab the eye. Under the hood, the 1.4-litre turbocharged engine has a cold-air intake and “performance-enhancing stage kit” from Chevrolet Performance.

Next up, the Impala Blackout is ready to disappear into the night with a mix of glossy black paint and shining chrome. The aftermarket pieces for the grille surround, rear spoiler and mirror caps all come from Chevy Accessories. The motif is carried inside with black leather and stainless steel parts for the sill plates and pedals.

Finally, the Chevy SS Sport hints at the model’s Australian heritage and Chevy Accessories parts. The black grille, stripes, side vents and rear spoiler all look mean and come from the aftermarket catalog. However, the 20-inch wheels, floor mats and cargo tray all bear the Holden logo to show off the muscle sedan’s lineage.

Check out the galleries above and below for a look at all of these style-focused concepts, and scroll down to get the full scoop on their various parts and to watch an hour-long video on the build process.
