The exterior styling of the 2014 Kia Forte SX sedan combines an aggressive looking front end with a modest looking back end. The front features a prominent front grille combined with large and deep headlights that extend almost to the start of the windshield, while the rear is more subdued with thin and wide tail lights and single exhaust. I thought the exterior could have benefitted from a few more lines and a few more chrome accents.
Although the side view makes the 2014 Kia Forte sedan look quite small, you would never notice this sitting inside the spacious interior. With ample leg and head room for five passengers, there is also a nicely sized trunk for larger cargo.
The interior is driver-focused and offers a simple and convenient dash with a large touch screen display and steering wheel controls. Unlike many other cars on the market, the clean looking dash in not littered with too many buttons. The driver will appreciate the heated and cooled seat with 2 memory settings and the power seat adjustment buttons with lumbar support.
A few features I was pleasantly surprised to find on the 2014 Kia Forte SX sedan included the automated driver’s seat moving back to allow easy entrance and exit of the vehicle, the automatic folding side mirrors on engine shut off and the wide and bright headlights that move with the vehicle allowing the driver to see better around corners.

The 2014 Kia Forte SX sedan provides great value for money priced at $26,195 for a fully loaded, top of the line Forte sedan. On the other end of things, if you are looking for a basic car the 2014 Kia Forte LX starts at just $15,995 and includes many standard features that usually would be an option. I highly recommend taking the Forte for a test drive to truly see the value for money that it provides.
